Up and about at 6:00 AM, sunrise from the top floor from my room
The room has a Japanese sliding window shade as well as a second sliding shade
That is a sitting area along the edge of the window to sit and read or relax and watch the view
Ate buffet breakfast on 2F
Walked across street to Osaka Station and it was Monday morning with people rushing to work
We took train north one stop to Shin-Osaka (high speed train stop).
Our train departed for Hiroshima at 8:04 AM (first one listed below). The symbol before 547 says Sakura which means cherry blossom
It is the N700 series, up to 300 km/hr
2 x 2 configuration
Nice comfy seats that recline. Also, they swivel 180 degrees so they face the reverse way. Plus there are power outlets on the floor
Bathrooms
payphone
We have reserved seats to Hiroshima.

We went to pay our respects to the victims of Hiroshima. I have already been to Pearl Harbor to pay my respects on December 7th, 2013. I have been to Los Alamos Laboratory north of Santa Fe, New Mexico to the museum and seen the replicas of the bombs.
The red ball signifies the height (600 meters above ground) where the atomic (not hydrogen) bomb exploded.
The 3,000 - 4,000 degrees Centigrade melted everything, in the museum are actual coins melted in a pile, glass bottles melted, etc
You will see this building below, we stood next to it
It is still black (2015 - 1945) after 70 years.
To the left in the silver circle is the eternal flame
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiroshima_Peace_Memorial_Park
There is the eternal flame in the middle, and then the remains of the dome
In this circular building, the bottom part are the names of the cities and towns. The closer the name is to the ground, the closer they were to ground zero. Along the top, is a panoramic view of the city a day after the bomb was dropped and you can't see it, but there are 140,000 tiles that make up that mosaic, one for each person killed.
The people were incinerated immediately, the skin of others melted as shown here
View from the 2nd floor of the museum
We wish everyone peace.
We also visited Miyajima which is 30 minutes from Hiroshima
http://visithiroshima.net/world_heritage/miyajima.html
This is a Tori gate, which means it is a Shinto Shrine. This is high tide. At low tide, people can actually walk out to it and touch it.
A ton of wild deer roam around amongst people.
A lot of emperors and other important people came here dating back to the year 1,100
We ate in Hiroshima at a Chinese restaurant
Here is our train 566 from Hiroshima back to Shin-Osaka (Shin means high speed train station) at 19:11. We have reserved seats once again. We go here and then transfer to the local to go one stop to Osaka Station. Our Hilton hotel is across the street from Osaka Station.
Here is a video of the train
We ate dinner in Hiroshima at a little hole in the wall with 8 tables up on the second floor.
